GAIA EPICHEIREIN will produce a series of 5 WEBTV episodes under the theme “Farm-to-Fork Portraits – The protagonists take the floor”. Each episode of the series will focus on a key player in the food supply chain, from the level of production to processing, marketing, distribution and consumption, in order to highlight the unique characteristics of each sector and the challenges it faces in regards to its contribution to more sustainable food systems.

More specifically, the portraits will focus on representatives of agriculture, food industries, wholesale and retail trade, food & beverages services, and consumers.

The twofold target is:

  • to enhance mutual understanding and build trust among key actors of the food system in order to help accelerate the systemic transition to sustainability;
  • to highlight the CAP’s contribution in serving and promoting a broad variety of objectives that embrace the needs and expectations of all actors in the food system when it comes to the sustainability challenge.

The WEBTV series will be available in a special section dedicated section of the web portal of the thematic agricultural newspaper “Ypaithros Chora”, as well as on the CAP2Fork website.
